Zenon holds a Bachelor Degree of Science (major in mathematics and minor in computer programming applications) and a Diploma in Education, both were awarded by the National University of Singapore. He also holds Master in Business Administration from University of Leicester, UK.
Zenon plays the executive role for the ICB Board.
Zenon’s background was primarily in the education and training sector. He started his career with the Ministry of Education as a full-time teacher/lecturer of a junior college. Prior to retirement, his last employment was a Director took charge of academic services for a local university in Singapore.
Zenon was based in Jakarta, Indonesia, when he was appointed as the Principal/Chief Operating Officer of a Singapore school, offering Singapore-based curriculum to the local primary and secondary school students.
As the HR Director (Learning), Zenon was responsible for all corporate training and learning services for Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel).
He was also formerly the Executive Director of Shan You Counselling Centre, a voluntary welfare organisation founded by Buddhists in Singapore, providing family counselling services to the community regardless of race, religion and affordability.
Zenon was a recipient of NSmen of the Year Award 2002 when he was Deputy Commanding Officer, Sembawang Air Base.
