About the Lecture

What do we truly mean when we say “I”? Drawing on the Buddha’s fundamental teachings, this lecture explores how body and mind shape our experience of self, and how misunderstanding their true nature gives rise to stress and suffering.

Dr. Hun Lye will unpack key Buddhist insights into the relationship between body, mind, and identity, while offering practical reflections on calming the body, safeguarding the heart, and cultivating lasting well-being. The talk bridges timeless Buddhist wisdom with the challenges of modern life, making these teachings both accessible and deeply relevant.

Whether you are new to Buddhism or have an established practice, this session offers valuable perspectives on developing greater mindfulness, emotional balance, and inner resilience.
