Guang Xing, Director of Academic Programme at Institute of Chinese Buddhism. Ph.D. from School of Oriental and African Studies, the University of London, served as the Director and Professor at the Centre of Buddhist Studies, The University of Hong Kong. He is on the board of directors for the Buddha Dharma Centre of Hong Kong, Vice President and Secretary-General of Prajna Paramita Charity Association Hong Kong. He was Tung Lin Kok Yuen Canada Foundation Visiting Professor in Buddhism and Contemporary Society at the University of British Columbia, Member of the Academic Committee of the Centre for the Study of Humanistic Buddhism, Chinese University of Hong Kong. His publications include The Concept of the Buddha: Its Evolution from Early Buddhism to the Trikaya Theory (2005), Filial Piety in Chinese Buddhism (2022), The Historical Buddha (2005), A Study and Translation of the Nagasena Bhksu Sutra (2008), together with many academic articles.
